Inspirational Quote: The human condition...lost in thought ~ Eckhart Tolle
Notes from Lily: In our childhood, we are exposed to ideas or repetitive thoughts...that we unconsciously memorize. Just as we memorize the words for our particular language. Our parents, siblings, caretakers or primary caregivers install the software of their beliefs into our developing minds...and we learn to parrot that information back...because we have no other frame of reference for much contrasting belief. During those early years as our families are the people we spend the most time with...so they are the primary programmers. The challenge is that our thoughts/beliefs become addictive...as the untamed mind draws our attention to the same ones over and over again. Our internal dialogue is what is dictating our daily reality...and it is heavily redundant. How many times have you ran variations of judgmental thoughts towards a family member? Or yourself? Or your life circumstances? And how often do these thoughts make you feel frustrated, powerless, resentful or depressed? If you are not in some mind management practice, it's going to be almost every day...which is why listening to contrasting and higher vibration is so important... One of the keys is to know the script in your head that defeats you, the old story, and to create a new "story" with new dialogue that lifts you to your true potential. It may feel exhausting to try to track your thoughts and turn them around...to create a new story. I get that...however, if you don't manage your mind...you will listen to that same untamed driven thoughts for the rest of your life. And I know you don't want to do that! So don't feel like you have to "DO" anything more than observe your thoughts and turn them around...and actively seek our perceptions and information that raises your consciousness...the thoughts that make you feel like there isn't anything you can't do. Then....talk about them everywhere you go. My own mind management abilities came from redundancy in terms of my talking about it...and listening to others talking about it as if for the first time so that I could cement the concepts in my head. If it feels hard in this moment, it's only because you aren't practicing daily. So listen to your Healthy Mind ~ Healthy Weight Program...or chat with your co coaching partner about the thoughts you want to drive deeper into your consciousness...or listen to other inspirational programs with high vibration information you want to embed into your psyche. Remember, you are always just one powerful thought away from a different state of mind.... Know you are in my heart as you go about this challenging...but infinitely rewarding journey of mastering your mind! Love, Lily
