Notes from Lily:  One of the most challenging aspects of managing the untamed mind is going to be its insisting that you are not able to make time for yourself.  It will suggest that everything OTHER than your well-being is your priority. 

However, your ability to care for yourself, to make time for exercise, coaching, fun and downtime is tantamount to living a joy filled life. 

Here's the scoop.  You may have a packed schedule, in fact I'm pretty darn sure most of you do.  However, there is time for the self caring behaviors if you: 

1. Reach out for help from others so that you can create the time (aka husbands, children, friends) 
2. Eliminate or reduce television time 
3. Use your weekends to rejuvenate and take time out for yourself 
4. Eliminate anything in your life that is not bringing you tremendous joy during your free time.  This may mean friends, and even family members who are not serving you...This may mean events you are involved in, or groups you are a part of that no longer serve you. 

The only way you will see changes in your life is if you change your patterns, mix it up!  If you continue to do what you have always done, you will get the same results...so even if it is a tiny shift towards something different..do it!  And celebrate it so you are more likely to do it again.  REINFORCEMENT  is a powerful tool for transformation. 

This is your year!...the year you took command of your lives..make it a doozy!
